Ginger Gilmour lights up the new Brighton Stadium

Terminal 5 Expo Fine Art Gallery artist Ginger Gilmour was recently commissioned to make a sculpture for the brand new Brighton & Hove Amex football Stadium. Ginger created the stunning sculpture made from glass and lit with Brighton & Hove colours this summer. The sculpture was presented to Tony Bloom as a gesture of appreciation for his generous contribution towards the creation of the new stadium. The Amex stadium (named due to its American Express sponsors) will be the new home of the Brighton Albion Football Club, their first permanent home since 1997. The official opening took place at the end of July with thousands of fans flocking to the stadium and waving Brighton Hove & Albion flags. Ginger’s sculpture is a beautiful dedication to Tony Bloom and reflects the celebration of this historical occasion.

Ginger would like to thank the outstanding efforts of the Directors Derek Chapman, Dick Knight, Martin Perry in making this collaboration possible. Ginger’s work is displayed in the Terminal 5 Expo Fine Art Gallery.
